Welcome to Plumstead's Adopt-A-Classroom blog! As part of this new program, we want you to see the impact that even a small donation can make on an elementary classroom. Enough money to upgrade one classroom has been made available, so we have begun the renovations in the music room. This blog is where you can look to see how much progress we have made. Remember - you do not have to "adopt" an entire classroom. You can pick and choose some of the projects that are part of the package.

We are almost finished with our first "adopted" classroom. A special donation made it possible to purchase a new rug and furniture. The final phase, updating the bathroom, will be completed over the summer. The result is a learning environment the our students and teachers can be proud of!

Spring break brought the opportunity to tackle some major work in the music room. Shelves were ripped out to make room for storage cabinets, and the old sink and vanity were replaced.
We love Plumstead so much that we decided that we should use the red and black Panther colors in our classrooms!

Over the Christmas break we were able to replace the tile floor in the music room. It is amazing how much brighter the room is with a freshly painted ceiling and new floor!
